- 6 tablespoons tomato ketchup, divided
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ onion, minced
- 1.3 lb (600 g) lean ground turkey
- 1.8 oz (50 g) breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Make it
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a loaf pan with baking paper.
- In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of the ketchup with the Worcestershire sauce.
- In a small pot over low heat, add the olive oil and cook the onion for 3–5 minutes. Remove from the heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine the ground turkey, cooked onion, breadcrumbs, egg, remaining 4 tablespoons of ketchup, salt, and oregano.
- Place the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and spoon the sauce on top.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
